Nelgunda is a remote village in the lush green forest of Dandakaranya. The area is blessed with breathtaking natural beauty, but cursed with inaccessibility for half of the year, malaria parasites and zero educational opportunities and is known as one of the most sensitive naxalite region. It is a small village in Bhamragad Tehsil of Gadchiroli District, connected by a 27kms of kaccha road from Bhamragad. Bhamragad is 350 kms away from Nagpur and 200 kms away from Chandrapur as well as Gadchiroli.

With a dream to provide best education to the remotest part of the country, Maharogi Sewa Samiti has started school 'Sadhana Vidyalaya' in Nelgunda on 3rd August 2015. The school was started to cater education needs of 52 children between play-group to 2nd standard. Initially the classes were held under an open-shed and trees.

As a Corporate Social Responsibility, we have contributed Rs.5 Lacs to Maharogi Sewa Samiti, Warora and they have used the funds for construction of the shed for this school.
